Beyoncé - ‘Run the World (Girls)’ Video
On Wednesday night during "American Idol" (and then on her official website), Beyoncé premiered her new video for "Run the World (Girls)": an eye-popping, hip-displacing clip full of haute couture costuming, daring dance steps and even a little geocentric gender-politicking.
Beyoncé is never less than fierce, but in her new video for “Run the World (Girls),” the first single off her fourth solo album, she was F-I-E-R-C-E!
From her scarlet Alexander McQueen to her black Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown, the singer proved she can bust a move in fashion’s finest. Other notable looks in the Mad Max-style video, set in the desert, are a white feather-laden Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci and two sexy cut-out gowns from Emilio Pucci.
And let’s not overlook her accessories — from a fistful of geometric Laruicci gold rings to knee-high Sergio Rossi gladiator boots with plumes and studs, this girl knows how to run the world!
Beyonce's album 4 is expected to hit the stores on June 28. Till then, enjoy the video.
