body

Experience:

I love this eye gel even though it doesn’t do any miracle things like normal eye gel claims, like reducing lines around the eyes or dark circle. I really like this product since student life. This is my savior. My precious. my own. This eye gel wakes my eyes if I fall into sleep mode especially when I was in a boring lectures. It does what it claims it does Cool, Soothes and Refreshes!

I don’t get it why people would think this gel will reduce fine lines or dark circles. Perhaps the sales person are tad too exaggerating. Liar Liar pants on fire.. ^__^

body1

Pro:

It does what it claims to do. Cool, Soothes and Refreshes.

It is cheap

It is quite big for an eye gel

Nice smells (even though it said unperfumed)

Cons

It can feel a bit greasy

Total unnecessary purchase because you can do the same with cold cucumber

See you til’ next time!

Review - H & M Nail Polish " Espresso Me"

I like my nail short and colored... I found out I can't stand having long nails though it does look nice when it colored.

My experience:

Who knew I'm going to love this?!! I got it for 1 €! Being a cheap hunter, I got nothing to lose and it really amaze me. The color is beautiful dark brown and I love dark colors for nail polish, I think my hands really compliments dark nail polishes.

The texture is really liquid almost like a water consistency. Some may hate it. I'm preferring this texture rather than thick texture.

It dries so fast and it remove so fast as well with my cheap ass nail polish remover. ^_^

What can I say, H & M nail polishes rock!

I've put some rhinestone as well. I've got it for free from BornPrettyStore, they always have free gifts under promotional gifts, check it out.

My nails look more alive with this bling-bling on it. Cute! ^_^

Review - Maybelline Color Sensational

I don't usually use lipsticks that much as I want to but I like a bargain when I see one and this lipsticks is definitely a bargain for me when I went to cruise. There was tax free cosmetics and fragrances shop,so it happened at that time, there was a sale! ^_^

I bought it because I tried and liked 2 out of 3 three colors. Lucky me, I guess! Too bad I can't pick and choose.

note: Iced Caramel and Sweet Pink looks the same but in person it looks different, it is a flash from the camera. *sigh*

Experience:

I really like Iced Caramel and Sweet Pink though Sweet Pink can make my face dull if I don't have make up on and tons of blusher. Do not be fool in the image above. It is light pink with shimmer.

Iced Caramel is nude color and it looks natural on my skin tone. I'm totally in love with it. ^_^

I am not a fan of Galactic Mauve. That color really doesn't suit my skin tone. I look sick. I can't give it away because I've used it already and it is not hygiene to share it unless I've only use lipstick brush on it. Perhaps it is nice to use it with dark, smokey look. I will try it next time. The purple-ish tint color doesn't look obvious but I just don't like it.

Conclusion:

These lipstick are soft and shiny finish with nice smells.

I need to buy lipstick brush so I can give it away if I bought a wrong color. ^_^

Review - Lumene Time Freeze Foundation

photo: Lumene

Instant Lift Make up

Anti- Aging

My experience:

I bought this foundation because it was on sale Crazy Day at Stockmann. I know this foundation is meant for mature skin but the first time I bought this foundation, I didn't know. I was sucked into the sale, I didn't bother to look at the descriptions. Opsss.. lesson to be learned there.

Even so, I gave it a try and it turns out very nicely.I don't need to use concealer to conceal my blemish scar. It has thick cream and nice coverage. It doesn't have any smells and it blend in your skin very well.

It claim to instantly lift make up and it does what it claims to be. My skin looks "lifted" even though I know you were wondering if I have saggy skin. No, I don't. It even out your skin tone perfectly. I don't need and shouldn't have to apply more than once or put a lot on my skin because it tends to be very oily in the end of the day and it is a nightmare for oily skin like me.

So if you have Lumene foundations available near you, get it. Even if its for mature skin, it is nice for young skin as well. Just use a little amount of it and you will love the result. Even after I remove it, it leaves my skin a nice feeling. ^_^

I have to bought 2 shades of foundation, just because my skin tends to change color easily. *ugh*but usually people do buy 2 shades to really match their skin tone.

I think I will try this on my mom skin. I bet it suits her though it will take me some persuasion. ^_^

Conclusion:

Feels light on my skin ( if you like to feel a cake on your face, you can put tons on it)

Blend in my skin very well

Instant lift on my skin

Cover my blemishes and other scars perfectly

Review - Good Stuff Organics Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer

No Paraben

No Synthetic

No dye

No Sulfates

Delicious Fragrance

Eco-Friendly packaging

My experience :

It is a good moisturizer. Not great, just good. It can be oily on my skin though my skin is pretty fucked up in this weather so I thought I have dry skin but it is not. ^_^ I have an oily skin and putting this moisturizer too much is a no-no. Perhaps on drier skins, this could be great.

There is no obvious effect by using this. It is just moisturizing, with silky touch, or greasy touch if I used it too much. ^_^

The fragrance are nice because of Goji Berry and Acai Berry extracts. It really does smells like putting fruit on your face and it gives psychological effects that this moisturizer is healthy.

photo: acai berry

photo: goji berry

That is two berries in the moisturizer, I just wanted to share with you because I don't know how this berries looks like myself and in case you are wondering as I am what in the world is Goji Berry and Acai Berry. It seems like this berries can be considered as Superfood. Too bad in that moisturizer only the extracts but anyway... who am I to complain? If I want a real berry, I better pick it up myself and smear it on my face, right? ^_^^

I will still use this until it finish. I've made a resolution that I will finish everything I bought, unless it can cause breakouts.

Conclusion:

Nicer on drier skin

Very moisturizing

Great smells

It doesn't do anything much

Rimmel I Love Fruities Lasting Finish Nail Polish

Ready for spring? Well.. at least my nails are. ^_^ This year beauty trend are all about being juicy fruity colors, bright fruity lips, bright make up and bright smile because after all darkness, colors are begging to come out and play! ^_^

I've got this for 3,50€ and the finish are ok. I actually need 2 coats of polish to make it nicer, usually if good nail polish, 2 coats are optional, but not this nail polish. It does have lemon scent when it dry, so I keep sniffing my nails as if I just scratch my ass and sniff it. (eeeww.. I know)
but I really love the scent! Definitely up to it words. ^_^. It dried fast enough, I usually make sure I have tons of time to do nails even it said dried 60 second, I just don't buy it.

I just got one nail polish first, I always buy one items to try, it's avoid having a feeling of regret if the product sucks. ^_^

it does smells like lemon!

The cutest lip gloss I ever buy and cheap too! ^_^

I bought at Seppälä for 2€. Too cute not to buy and I don't use lip gloss that much! Failing of restraining myself for cute stuffs.

Model's Own Peach Puff

Usually I like bubblegum colors, but I am giving a try to be a bit natural on nails. ^_^

I always like Model's Own nail polish. They are easy to applied and easy to remove. What more do you want ?

Gosh! It is really nice!

There's a sales on Gosh make up discount up to 50% at Sokos and the only thing that super duper cheap is loose eyeshadow or pigment and foundation mousse. ^_^ Each cost 3,50€ and 3€ respectively. I do not want to get too crazy and start piling up stuff, which I already have but I tried within reason. *Pinky promise*

Gosh Effect Powder Rose Gold

there's even an opening for it. nicceee...

Gosh Effect Powder Bottle

No opening?? This is pink discrimination.

I don't have color swatches for this because my skin is dark and the camera flashes so the color isn't co-operating with me. -_-

The pigments are very nice but very shimmery. You can wear it alone if you have big nice eyes. I wish I have because you can get away using only one color and eyeliner. *sigh*. Between wearing it wet or dry, I prefer wet..the color are popping like lollipop colors and it gives your eyes youth back. Probably I won't using shimmery when I am 40 but I still have 11 years to go.

^_^

Gosh Makeup Mousse in 04 Champagne

yes, tacky but who cares.

The moouusssseee is calling me... it is soooooo soofftt and matte like touching clouds. Exaggeration is a must for this purpose. The color I pick is tend to be slightly lighter than my skin tone but that's what you get when you don't have any samples to choose from but it is alright because it is not too white until I can pass being on stage with Chinese opera or my BB cream. I always can mix it with my darker shade of foundation or simply bronzer. waallaah.. perfect !
It is worth for 3€.

Lip Balm

Before I moved to Finland, I never used lip balm. My lips never dry back home but the moment the air of coldness slap on my skin, my lips suffer the most. Lip balm is my savior.

This is La Maxima. I got this from my bf. He was on Turkish Airline and they giving it for free. Usually I don't give a rat ass about product from airline, especially when they giving it free but out of desperation, I used it on my very dry lip and the next morning, I don't have dry any more! My dry lips is awful and it have very red line on my upper lips that looks like I'm wearing red lip liner in a bad way.

There is one seller from ebay selling this lip balm. For now I've only manage to search one seller.
Oh well..

There is another lip balm that become my favorite. It is Blistex Lip Conditioner. There's nothing difference between lip conditioner and lip balm anyway or that's how I feel when I use both of them.

Seriously, I can be out without my make up but without a lip balm, I won't dare to go out.

If this a commercial I would probably do it like most Mentos do in their commercials, big flashy smile on my face and holding lip balm to the camera or acting trying too hard being sexy. ^_^

H & M shower cream and body lotion

I love the smell of it and the lotion have shimmer in it. It is not that obvious but when you put it on, it really look shimmery at first and then it will blend on the skin so you won't look like Christmas lights walking around.

Shower cream leaving velvet touch on your skin after shower and lotion just add the softness of it all. The smell doesn't last but it is cheap so you get what you pay.I really love it. ^_~

BB Cream

First time I heard BB cream when Malaysia pretty much flooded with Korean products and they promoted it very much. So I give it a try. I don't remember how much was it, approximately RM60-ish? I was pretty much sucked into the alluring of sweet promises of this cream because one of the benefits wearing this cream is that it can help fading acne scars. oh what is BB cream?

BB cream stands for Blemish Balm and originated in Germany for dermatologist to help patients sooth and heal their skin after laser skin surgery. Korean celebrities views this BB cream as their secret weapon for flawless skin.

Personally, I think my BB cream is not suitable for me, it is cream-ish texture and when I put it on, it looks like I'm wearing a very white chalk all over my face. For some who have similar skin tone to this BB cream, it's fine and lucky but having a darker skin, it is pretty much makes me want to throw this 25g of jar all the time. There is liquid type BB cream, maybe perhaps I will try that out. The only bad thing about BB cream is, it is only available in one color.

Be prepared to see how white it is on my face...

I need to cover it, I don't want to give heart attack for those who view this image, but at least you know how white it is.

In make up purchase, you tend to make mistakes of buying stuff you "think" it is good and up until now, I feel adventurous to search affordable with quality. As the the says going, you get what you pay. As for me, I just view make up as fun to play around and make yourself extra pretty. ^_^

Because of that image above, BB cream claimed it will absorb to your skin and adjust the color with your skin tone, unfortunately, it doesn't. It stays whitey.

So this is what I do to make it nicer to wear without feeling guilty to throw away full 25gram of jar.

1. I've mixed it with darker foundation.

2. I've put bronzer/darker shade of powder on top of it

3. I've mainly use it as concealer for under eye circle.

4. Used it as highlighter because of it's whiteness, it can pass as highlight <--yes, that white.

Much better! It gives sun kissed glow like in summer.. ok ok, I know it is early. :P~~

I got this idea from this website. Neat!
